Tomas Baiza, director of the Advising and Academic Support Center, will have his flash fiction piece, Hungers, featured in the “Capsule Stories” winter 2021 issue. The issue’s theme is “Sugar and Spice” and will feature works on the complex relationship between people and food. Baiza’s story centers on an argument between a mother and her teenage son over what it really means to suffer from hunger.
