Marie Baker has moved into the position of director for Southwestern Idaho of the Idaho Small Business Development Center. Baker began as a business consultant for the SBDC in 2019.
Baker said she is passionate about entrepreneurs and their journey and that she will work collaboratively to assist clients with achieving their goals.
“We have an incredible team in the Southwest Idaho region to assist business owners on their entrepreneurial journey. It is a privilege to work with the Idaho SBDC professionals to serve our business community,” she said.
Baker has a bachelor’s degree in business from California State University, Fresno, and a master’s in organizational development from the University of San Francisco. She spent five years working in banking before starting her own business consulting, coaching, and educating small businesses.
