VanDusky-Allen and Kettler publish article in Party Politics

Julie VanDusky-Allen, assistant professor of political science, and Jaclyn Kettler, associate professor of political science, published a research article in Party Politics on the effect of party linkages on executive-legislative powers. In countries where parties exchange public goods for votes, executives have less influence and legislative committees have more influence over policymaking than in countries where parties exchange private goods for votes, the authors found.
