Students win Cybersecurity Entrepreneur Challenge

An interdisciplinary team made of College of Western Idaho students Alex Mitchell and Cameron White and Boise State student Tatum Jones recently won the Cybersecurity Entrepreneur Challenge and received $12,000 for creating TAC Security. TAC Security is a platform that blends physical security with cybersecurity tools into a real time threat management system

The Cybersecurity Entrepreneur Challenge challenge was presented by Boise State University’s Venture College and the Institute of Pervasive Cybersecurity, and the Micron Foundation.
