Teresa Focarile, associate director for educational development in the Center for Teaching and Learning, and Shari Ellertson, director of Institutional Effectiveness, co-presented a plenary session with colleagues from Connecticut College at this year’s Professional and Organizational Development Network Conference.
The session, “Assessment as Faculty Development: Using Evidence across Traditional Silos to Improve Student Learning”, highlighted the ways in which the presenter’s divisions collaborate to support student learning from the institutional to the course level at Boise State.
