University Financial Services combines departments; announces two new roles

The Controller’s Office and Procurement and Vendor Services will now be one department under the leadership of the Controller and Director of Procurement and Vendor Services, Alicia Dillon, University Financial Services has announced. The new structure allows resources to be better leveraged, improving service to campus.

Dillon has over 20 years of accounting and audit experience, with 15 of those being in higher education. She has worked in several positions at Boise State including assistant manager for the Office of Sponsored Programs, senior business manager for the School of Public Service, director of operations for Accounts Payable and, most recently, director of Procurement and Vendor Services. She is also a certified public accountant.

Suzanne Adams, who has been the university’s controller for over a decade, will continue to work in financial services as the director of financial reporting and analysis. Adams will use her expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles reporting to oversee the preparation of the annual audit reports and quarterly board reports. She will also mentor the team in these important skills.
