The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Boise State invites full-time tenured, tenure-track and research faculty to apply for grants of up to $7,500 to support research, projects or scholarly work. The application deadline is March 1, 2022. Award recipients will be announced on April 15, 2022.

The Osher Faculty Grant is supported by the generosity of the Osher Institute and its members for the benefit of Boise State faculty. Funding is intended to defray expenses related to the proposed project; it is not a faculty stipend. The Osher Faculty Grant has awarded more than $135,000 since it was established in 2011.
Past recipients include Daibao Gau and Eun Hye Son, Department of Literacy, Language, and Culture; Evelyn Johnson and Patricia Hampshire, Department of Early and Special Education; Lisa McClain, Department of History and Gender Studies Program; and Rulon Wood, Department of Theatre, Film, and Creative Writing.
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is a membership-based lifelong learning program for intellectually curious adults age 50 and older. The Osher Institute is part of the Division of Extended Studies and hosts speakers that include university faculty, industry experts, authors, and esteemed speakers from around the country presenting a variety of programs, both in person and as livestream webinars, to Osher members everywhere.
