Update: The search for vice presidents and deans

Boise State is conducting candidate searches for two vice presidents and four deans.

The firm AGB Search is providing services for the searches for vice president for Student Affairs and Enrollment management, and vice president for Research and Economic Development. The firm will aid the search committees to develop a robust, diverse candidate pool and will assist each committee in their searches. The university expects to name the new vice presidents in the spring of 2022.

Additionally, the dean search process continues for Albertsons Library, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education, and the School of Public Service. The university has partnered with the firm Academic Career and Executive Search to conduct the search process and aid each search committee in developing candidate pools. College stakeholders will receive periodic progress updates from the chairs of their respective search committees and haveĀ opportunities to engage in the process.

To manage the efforts across these search committees and to liaise with the external search firms, the university has hired Sierra Buttars as the senior project director for executive searches. Buttars will serve as a liaison to search committee chairs and firms alike, and will streamline university-wide messaging and processes related to these searches.
