In 2021, the Idaho State Board of Education created a policy to address student access to affordable educational materials. The policy requires postsecondary institutions to develop their own plan by June. In response, the Office of the Provost convened the Learning Materials Access and Affordability Task Force made up of administrators, faculty, staff, and students. Work is underway.
