A pop-up vaccination clinic will be available from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11 in Albertsons Library. The clinic offers a chance to boost immunity with an annual flu vaccine and a COVID-19 bivalent booster (initial series doses also available) before the holidays arrive and seasonal activities and gatherings begin.
There will be an incentive drawing for a $50 Albertson’s gift card and all persons who get vaccinated at the pop-up will be entered into the drawing.
University Health Services will bill insurance for the flu vaccine. Most insurance companies cover annual flu vaccinations, but participants are encouraged to contact their insurance company to confirm. Those who prefer to not bill insurance can pay the cost of the flu vaccine, $40. The cost of COVID-19 vaccines is free. However, a vaccine administration fee may be charged to insurance if applicable. Attendees should bring their insurance card with them.
