The Department of Art, Design and Visual Studies ceramics program’s bi-annual Clay and Fire sale will run from Thursday, Dec. 8 to Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022 in the Center for Visual Arts Ceramics Studios. Admission is free and the sale will be open from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
The ceramics program sale, a tradition every spring and fall for over 40 years, features hundreds of original ceramic pieces made by Boise State students, faculty and alumni.
A portion of the proceeds benefit Boise State’s Visiting Artists in Ceramics program each semester, which brings world-class artists to campus to teach students and the community about contemporary techniques and concepts. The funds raised at the sale make it possible for the public to attend these two-day workshops, which are always free for Boise State students, faculty and staff.
