Researchers make recommendations to improve services to victims of crime

Boise State criminal justice researchers recently authored a new survey of agencies providing services to victims of crime in Idaho.

The report was authored by Laura L. King, Lisa M. Growette Bostaph and Lane K. Gillespie, all of the criminal justice program in the School of Public Service. Graduate research assistant Kaitlin Blalock also contributed to the report.

Idaho Crime Victim Service Provider Survey: Year Two surveyed 42 crime victim service providers across Idaho. The report also offered twenty recommendations for improving the ability of agencies to serve crime victims. The report is part of The Biennial Report on Victimization & Victim Services.
