Mizrahi retires after 20 years; campus invited to share memories and join in a celebration on Feb. 15

Jerri Mizrahi, a career growth services manager in Human Resources is retiring after 20 years of university service and over 35 years of working in organizational development, consulting and adult learning.

“I’m deeply honored and grateful for my time at Boise State,” Mizrahi said. “My driving purpose throughout the years has been to be of value and service to programs that support university students and employees. I will cherish the memories of working with so many good people.”

Mizrahi most recently served as a coach and mentor to develop employees to achieve their personal and professional goals. Throughout the years she has developed leaders through the Shared Leadership program; co-developed leadership programs with the Provost’s Office, the Center for Professional Development, the President’s Leadership Academy and the Leadership Development Pathways program; created the employee Let’s Talk program; spearheaded community service projects; mediated to resolve employee conflicts; consulted for strategic planning, re-organization, culture in the workplace, change management and work-group interventions; facilitated a variety of workshops; and lectured in classrooms and conferences about the organizational development field.

“Jerri has always been willing to share her expertise and knowledge,” says Kip Spittle, organizational development training manager. “She has been a mentor and friend to me and to so many others on campus. It’s next to impossible to sum up all the positive contributions she made in over 20 years of dedicated service. Her diverse skill set, grace and collegiality are some of the traits I admire most about her. ”

Mizrahi looks forward to a busy retirement working in intuitive coaching, writing and serving in the community. She also plans new adventures by traveling, connecting with friends and family, focusing on wellness activities and getting into some “good trouble”.
