In celebration of Body Acceptance Week, the Office of BroncoFit will host a “Lunch and Learn” on body image from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24 in the Student Union’s Farnsworth Room.
This engaging discussion will be led by Boise State University’s Mary Pritchard, professor and associate chair of the Department of Psychological Science, and manager of the Body Image Lab. She will share her research and expertise in experimental psychology, focusing on varying factors influencing body image dissatisfaction and disordered eating behaviors in men and women. This conversation aims to highlight the student’s body image experience, its effects, and what the Boise State community can do to help.
