Shari Ellertson, senior executive director of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, has been appointed to the Higher Education Consortia Advisory Board. The the Higher Education Consortia provides leadership and oversight of the National Study of Instructional Costs and Productivity also known as The Cost Study (or “The Delaware Study”). Over 700 institutions have participated in The Cost Study since 1996, with approximately 200 participating institutions annually. The mission of the the Higher Education Consortia Advisory Board is to provide guidance for improving The Cost Study’s data quality and security and contributing to the advancement of data innovation in institutional effectiveness and data use among senior leadership at institutions of higher education. Ellertson will begin her three-year term of service in April 2023.
