The Office of Institutional Compliance and Ethics is implementing a rolling four-year policy review schedule for university policies. Faculty policies are reviewed according to the Faculty Senate bylaws and process, but are encouraged to follow the review schedule to the extent possible, the office said.
Responsible parties will be notified of any policies needing review according to the schedule. Revisions are not always required. In many cases, the policy may not need updating, and it can simply be noted that the policy was reviewed and no changes are needed. Instructions for completing the review will be included in the email notification to the responsible party.
