Idaho Conference on Undergraduate Research begins with reception July 18

Join undergraduate researchers, faculty, staff and community members from across the Treasure Valley to celebrate undergraduate research at the Idaho Conference on Undergraduate Research 2023 in-person reception, to be held from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18 at the Micron Center for Materials Research. The event will offer attendees an opportunity to grab a goody bag (while supplies last), enjoy refreshments and network with fellow researchers. A gallery walk of select posters from the conference will be on display.

The reception is followed by the two-day virtual Idaho Conference on Undergraduate Research on Wednesday, July 19 and Thursday, July 20. Virtual sessions will include keynote presentations, lightning talks, poster presentations, industry-led panels, research talks and breakout sessions for faculty. Register to attend.

Additional in-person receptions are being held at Idaho State University and University of Idaho. Times and days vary and receptions are open to anyone who can attend.

The goals of the conference are to promote the engagement of undergraduate students from multiple disciplines in research, to build an extended scholarly community across institutional boundaries in Idaho, and to ensure diversity in institutional representation, discipline, and students’ background.
