Call for University Foundations 100 course proposals

The faculty who design and teach a University Foundations 100 course often say it is one of the most challenging and meaningful teaching opportunities they have ever engaged in.

Those interested in teaching a UF 100 course should consult with their college and submit a proposal questionnaire for a new or renewing UF 100 course. Proposed courses will be offered once annually during the next three-year course cycle (Fall 2024-Spring 2027).

Proposal questionnaires for new or renewing courses should be uploaded using the proposal submission form by Oct. 6.

The submissions will be reviewed by colleges from Oct. 6-27. College-approved proposals will then be reviewed by the General Education Committee of the Faculty Senate from Oct. 27-Nov. 17.

Faculty can learn more about UF 100 and the 2023 proposal process by attending an upcoming information session this September. RSVP to receive an invitation.
