BroncoFit will be hosting the 10-Days of Gratitude November 6-17 to encourage employees to build an ‘Attitude of Gratitude.’
Gratitude is a positive emotion that results from being thankful. Gratitude is about taking time to recognize, acknowledge and appreciate the goodness in life.
Gratitude can have a powerful impact on your quality of life. Included in this increase in happiness is a multitude of benefits on the body as a whole.
Reduce stress and improve your mood, feel more joy and compassion, improve your sleep, protect your heart, boost your immune system, cope with adversity, improve your overall physical and mental well-being, and feel more connected to your community.
What to expect
- Daily emails from BroncoFit with inspirational quotes, gratitude messages and activity prompts.
- Kick off event: Mindfulness class with Daoshi Michael Bittner. 12-12:45 p.m., Nov. 7, Student Union Building – Farnsworth room. The event is limited to to 40 people. Register in advance.
- ePostcards will be available for employees to send gratitude messages to each other.
- A gratitude tree will be visible for everyone to pick a leaf and write something they are grateful for.
