Nominations open for student lightning talks during undergraduate research showcase

Nominations are invited from faculty for student lightning talks at the 2024 Undergraduate Research Showcase. Lightning talks and performances are three-minute presentations using one image slide showcasing a student’s research or creative activity. They offer a platform for students to showcase their work to the community and to make connections. Student presenters will be selected from across the campus. These students will be supported with coaching and a rehearsal prior to their presentation at the showcase.

Lightning talks and performances will take place in-person from 2:45-3:45 p.m. in the Student Union Building Hatch Ballroom. Each faculty can nominate one student. Nominations can be made here by Feb. 9.
