Carolyn Goetz, senior budget analyst in the Office of Budget and Planning (OBP), has retired after 17 years of service. She started her career at Boise State as a part time budget analyst and transitioned to a full time budget analyst in 2014. She was promoted to a senior budget analyst in 2017.

Goetz has been instrumental in developing training materials for the Office of Budget and Planning’s presentations to the campus community. She also created a budget analyst manual and trained new analysts as they were hired.

“OBP wishes Carolyn all the best in her retirement. Carolyn will be remembered for her dedication in supporting new team members,” said Chris Johnson, associate vice president for budget and planning.

Goetz said she has enjoyed working with the budget team and colleagues across campus, providing the opportunity to get to know many people in a wide range of positions and disciplines. She is looking forward to reading, working with stained glass and traveling in retirement.
