Boise State recently hosted the Northwest Managers of Educational Technology event, a regional conference that attracted nearly 300 participants, including a mix of educators, technical staff and industry partners. This year’s conference was the largest to-date with 16 states, 50 institutions and 63 companies represented.

This year’s theme was “Bridging Technology and Pedagogy,” and among the presenters were:

  • Boise State’s Natalie Davison, Assistant Director of the Educational Access Center, discussing accessibility in higher education
  • Boise State’s Peter Jurhs, Executive Director, Network Infrastructure and Endpoint Services, discussing transitioning to Zoom phones
  • Former Boise State Instructional Technologist Grace Tuttle, currently a consultant for MacMillan Learning, discussing the efficacy of iClicker utilization in Boise State’s University Foundation courses

Learning Technology Solutions Instructional Technologist Zane McCarty was the Conference Director, and he worked with Erika Krishnek, Manager, AV Technology, and LTS Instructional Technologist Nicole Carrobis-Malone to coordinate this dynamic event.

Keep an eye out for the next time Boise State hosts this conference.
