School of Public Service honors community leaders, faculty and school staff with Commitment to Idaho Awards

On May 13, 2025, Boise State University’s School of Public Service celebrated exemplary leaders in the Idaho community and on the school’s internal team. This year’s ceremony was the seventh annual, honoring Boise Mayor Lauren McLean with the 2025 Commitment to Idaho Award and General Manager of Idaho Public Television Jeff Tucker with the 2025 Enhancing Public Discourse Award.

Several staff and faculty from the School of Public Service were also honored at the event:

The event also featured celebrations of the School of Public Service’s accomplishments during the 2024-25 academic year and a reading of a proclamation signed by Idaho Governor Brad Little, which declared May 13, 2025 Boise State University School of Public Service Day throughout Idaho.
