Boise State to host upcoming Idaho social studies teaching conference

Boise State University’s Symposium on Civic and Historical Education is hosting their annual conference for Idaho social studies teachers June 12-13, 2025. This year’s conference is titled “Revolutions: Promise and Peril,” and will study how the American Revolution inspired democratic movements across the globe, exploring how those themes can be applied in the context of today’s society – historically, politically and intellectually.

Attendees who teach in Boise School District, are certified to teach concurrent enrollment through Boise State, conference presenters, exhibitors and students can register for free, and anyone can register for professional development credit through the conference at Boise State.
