College of Arts and Sciences Dean Leslie Durham was recently selected to be Provost of Weber State University, effective Aug. 1, 2025. Provost John Buckwalter will work with Interim President Jeremiah Shinn to develop a leadership transition plan for the college. Updates on this process will be shared as they become available.
“Please join me in congratulating Dr. Durham on her new position and thanking her for her 24 years of service at the university,” Buckwalter said. “It is a testament to the type of leadership and work that is happening at Boise State University that another university would tap one of our own for an executive leadership position. While she will be missed dearly, I am confident that the good work she and her team has initiated can continue in her absence.”
