Gautam Basu Thakur, associate professor of English, recently was interviewed by the Modern Languages Association for an ongoing study on the research methods of faculty in language, literature, culture and writing studies. During the 75-minute phone interview, Basu Thakur shared his current and upcoming research plans, his research methodologies including archival work, and noted his concerns about contemporary trends in humanities research and education.
