Eric Lindquist presents on the policy perspective of asteroid impacts

Eric Lindquist, an associate professor in the School of Public Service, recently participated in the American Geophysical Union’s annual fall meeting in San Francisco. He was a panelist on the natural hazards section panel titled “Characterization, Mitigation, Mission Designs, and Consequences of Asteroid Impacts.”

Lindquist presented a policy perspective on asteroid hazards and planetary defense, and problems and solutions for large-scale policy making.
