The days of virtual Zoom meetings held in people’s kitchens, living rooms, reading nooks or well-lit closets (for those who have kids) are over. Boise State employees may now change their virtual backgrounds to one of more than 30 beautiful campus scenes.
The Boise State Zoom virtual backgrounds are available for download here.
To enable the virtual background feature on Zoom:
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Click My Meeting Settings for account administrators or Meeting Settings for account members.
- Navigate to the Virtual Background option on the Meeting tab and verify that the setting is enabled.
- If the setting is disabled, click the Status toggle to enable it. If a verification dialog displays, choose Turn On to verify the change. (If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the Group or Account level.)
Individuals must logout of the Zoom Desktop Client and login to it again for this setting to take affect. More information on enabling Zoom virtual backgrounds can be found here.
