College of Health Sciences celebrates nine retiring faculty and staff

The campus community is invited to celebrate College of Health Sciences faculty and staff who are retiring in a virtual celebration event at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 6.

We are pleased to recognize the following retirees:

  • Lonny Ashworth, professor, Department of Respiratory Care, 44 years of university service.
  • Becky Bunderson, lab operations specialist, School of Nursing, 27 years of university service.
  • Cynthia Sanders, professor, School of Social Work, 17 years of service.
  • Karen Godard, assistant professor, School of Nursing, 14 years of university service.
  • Sonja Enger, clinical assistant professor, School of Social Work, 11 years of university service.
  • Janet Reis, research professor, College of Health Sciences Office of Research, nine years of university service.
  • Nancy Loftus, administrative assistant, School of Nursing, seven years of university service.
  • Kim Copeland, clinical assistant professor, School of Nursing, six years of university service.
  • Kathy Anderson, clinical assistant professor, School of Nursing, four years of university service.

Dean Tim Dunnagan will recognize each honoree’s service during their Boise State careers. At 4  p.m. or immediately following the dean’s presentation, social hour virtual Zoom sessions will be hosted by each unit so that people can visit with those who are leaving.
