About 400 loyal Bronco donors and friends gathered on The Blue at Albertsons Stadium on June 5 to raise more than $750,000 towards scholarships for Boise State students.

The biennial Boise State University Scholarship Auction Gala, hosted by the Boise State Alumni Association and the Bronco Athletic Association, brings fans, donors and friends together to bid on donated items to support needed scholarships for student-athletes and alumni legacy students.

“Once again, alumni, friends and donors overwhelmingly showed their dedication to helping Boise State students succeed through scholarship support,” said Lisa Gardner, executive director for the Boise State Alumni Association. “Thank you to all who made charitable auction item donations and generous bids in support of scholarships.”

Since 1983, the Boise State Auction Gala has been a Bronco tradition, bringing in more than $5 million to support student scholarships.

“I offer my sincerest thanks to everyone involved with this historic edition of the auction,” said Jeramiah Dickey, director of athletics. “Being able to hold this event on The Blue for the first time, and meeting so many of our great supporters, was an amazing opportunity. Their generous support will go a long way as we provide an elite experience not just for student-athletes, but for so many future Broncos.”
