A number of faculty from the College of Business and Economics will share updates from their research at 1 p.m. on April 15 in the Imagination Lab, Micron Business and Economics Building room 2302.
College faculty will have three minutes and three slides each to present a snapshot of their research over the past year.
As an example of the types of research college faculty are doing, here are a few things were published in 2021:
- Ruth Jebe’s research on the problem of plastic waste in the global supply chain.
- Sam Ehrlich’s research about the rights of college athletes to profit off of their likeness.
- Steven Hyde’s research showing how sports referees and financial analysts both make bad calls in an attempt to make up for previous bad calls.
The presentations end at 3 p.m. and there will be refreshments to celebrate the faculty achievements of the past year. This event is open to everyone, not just those affiliated with the College of Business and Economics.
