Boise State Reporting allows quick access to the university’s most widely used reports and dashboards. Links to the MyInsights reporting tool, the Data Cookbook and other reporting resources are available.
Additional reporting options are available via two reporting catalogs: Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence and Oracle Analytics Cloud.
Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence
The Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) catalog contains Human Capital Management (HCM), finance, and sponsored program data.
These reports and dashboards are developed directly from source tables and the data in real time. Modifications to these reports and dashboards require a developer.
Oracle Analytics Cloud
The Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) catalog contains student data and some finance, Human Capital Management (HCM), and sponsored program data.
Oracle Analytics Cloud reports and dashboards use data extracted from the source system, transformed, and loaded into data warehouse tables before being used in reporting tools. The data in this system is not real-time, and versioned data is available for student data. Some modifications in Oracle Analytics Cloud may require a developer.
