Zoom Rooms are Boise State’s new standard for hosting teleconference meetings. These rooms utilize wireless sharing and are significantly more cost-effective, easier to use and faster to install. A typical Zoom Room features a wall-mounted display, an all-in-one video conferencing sound bar with a camera and microphones, and a touchscreen panel.
Feedback from campus about Zoom Rooms has been positive, with individuals highlighting the ease of connecting devices to a monitor or projector and commenting on how simple the technology is compared to previous conference room devices and equipment.
The Office of Information Technology provides installation, connectivity and ongoing support for Zoom Rooms. Costs will vary depending on equipment and installation requirements. Please contact helpdesk@boisestate.edu for more details.
