Seetamraju publishes in Council of Undergraduate Research journal

Lavanya Seetamraju, undergraduate research project manager at the Institute for Inclusive and Transformative Scholarship, coauthored  “VIPs as an Approach to Prepare Students to Thrive after Graduation” in the Scholarship and Practice of Undergraduate Research, the quarterly peer-reviewed journal of the Council of Undergraduate Research.

The council aims to support and promote high-quality mentored undergraduate research, scholarship and creative inquiry. Their publications and outreach activities are designed to share successful models and strategies for establishing, nurturing, and institutionalizing undergraduate research programs. The theme of this issue is Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP). Seetamraju and co-authors Jim Fredricksen and Donna Llewellyn discuss how Boise State’s VIP program supports students’ development of career competencies by measuring their growth against the National Association of Colleges and Employers eight competencies for career readiness.
