Cynthia Clark, RN, PhD, ANEF, FAAN, professor in the School of Nursing, presented two faculty workshops to a national audience at the 2012 Mosby-Elsevier Faculty Development Institute in Las Vegas, Nev. One workshop was titled,“Building Leadership Capacity to Create Civility in Nursing Education,” and the other was titled, “Innovative Teaching Tools and Techniques to Foster Civility in Nursing Education.” These workshops emphasized the importance of creating and sustaining civil, safe teaching-learning environments and healthy workplaces.
