In April, St. Luke’s Hospice partnered with Boise State Nursing students to screen the documentary “Honor Flight: The Movie” in Boise. St. Luke’s published a news release on their website about the screening, the achievement of St. Luke’s Hospice Level IV Partnership with the National Hospice and Palliative Care Association and the Department of Veterans Affairs. The news release credited Kim Martz’s senior nursing leadership students for their work in coordinating the screening event.
Martz and the students state that the work the students have been able to do with veterans and St. Luke’s Hospice will better equip them to care for veterans in their future roles as nurses.
