Hello, My name is Ava Farahany, RN, MSN/Ed from Charlotte, North Carolina. I’m an online faculty with the  RN-BS Nursing Program and have been teaching with Boise State’s Nursing program since 2009. I graduated in 1997 with my BSN from Brenau University in Gainesville, GA and my MSN/Ed from the University of Phoenix in 2004. I have worked in several different capacities (bedside, management, staff educator, clinical adjunct faculty, & CNS) at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. I moved to Seattle, WA in 2011 (for my husband’s job) and moved back home to Charlotte, NC in January of 2016.

Personally, I am married and have a vivacious little boy that keeps us on our toes. We love spending time together as a family and love anything outdoors.
