Master of Science in Cyber Operations and Resilience Admissions

Applicant Requirements

To be considered for the online Master of Science in Cyber Operations and Resilience program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • At least one baccalaureate degree (in any academic discipline) from an accredited U.S. college or university or a degree from a non-U.S. institution of higher education that is judged equivalent to a U.S. baccalaureate degree by the International Admissions office is required. Applicants who are seniors and in good academic standing can request an exception to this requirement.
  • An undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 (based on a 4-point scale) computed for all undergraduate credits from the applicant’s most recent baccalaureate degree is required. Students with a GPA below 3.0 may require special provisions for admission to the graduate cyber program.
  • Initiate an admission application to the Graduate College

Program Admission

After admission to the Boise State Graduate College, students must apply to the graduate cyber program by submitting the following:

  • A resume/CV to document any work experience in a technology-related or non-technology-related profession.
  • Personal statement outlining how this program of study directly connects to career goals and professional motivation to complete the program.
  • NOTE: No GRE or GMAT is required.

Application Deadlines by Semester

Admission is offered each fall, spring, and summer semester. Space is limited, so early application is recommended. Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis.
