They were also recently ranked in the top 15% of online bachelor’s degrees in the country by U.S. News and World Report.

What Can You Do With The Online Degree Pathway?

The Online Degree Pathway helps you earn your degree foundation credits and can be completed 100% online in either full- or part-time formats. Multiple start dates (in the 1st and 2nd 7-week portions of the semester) are available. The classes help you establish the critical skills you’ll need to excel in an academic program. Each course has been purposefully designed and developed for online delivery using a set of quality standards.

The Pathway provides you with a flexible, convenient method for working toward a degree without pushing pause on the rest of your life.

The Online Degree Pathway and all of Boise State Online’s bachelor degree programs were recently highlighted by the U.S. News and World Report. Boise State Online’s bachelor degree programs ranked in the near top 10% of online bachelor’s degree programs in the country — #39 out of 337 higher education institutions. Boise State also ranked at #26 for best online bachelor’s programs for veterans.

How Much Does This Program Cost?

Your total costs at Boise State may vary depending on your previous credits. The following is an outline of the Online Degree Pathway costs for a sample student.

To earn a degree from Boise State University, students must complete 120 credits; 43-46 credits are typically foundation courses like those completed in the ODP. University Foundation courses and costs may vary.
Other potential expenses may include a personal computer, webcam, headphones with mic, and internet access which are all required for this program.

*The per-credit fees listed above are for the 2023-24 academic year. Future academic year per-credit fees may vary slightly and are finalized each May.

**Costs for room, board and transportation are used to calculate financial aid and are included to disclose the full cost of attendance. These costs are not required for students pursuing a fully online degree.

What Classes Will I Take?

The below Online Degree Pathway requirements show the University Foundation courses required for the Pathway, which also count towards a bachelor’s degree at Boise State. You will work with your Pathway advisor to determine which foundation classes best fit with your intended degree, and what lower-division coursework can be completed online. Some of these foundation courses may be met through transfer coursework.
