Pre-Business Administration Pathway
Learn fundamental business skills including managerial problem solving, leadership, teamwork, responsible business practices, innovation and modern workplace management with the pre-business administration pathway.
This pathway prepares you to succeed in Boise State’s online Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management. After completing the pre-business administration pathway, you will need to complete the BBA in Management program application to be admitted into the bachelor’s program.
Pre-Business Administration Pathway Courses
The following curriculum list shows the courses that are suggested to complete the pre-business administration pathway. View course descriptions in the undergraduate catalog.
Take ECON 201 Principles of Macroeconomics (3 credits) and complete at least one of the following certificates -or- choose individual classes from them to fulfill your elective requirements:
- Certificate in Business Preparation (11 credits)
- Certificate in Professional Readiness (12 credits)
While the courses in these certificate programs are not required to apply for the BBA in Management, they provide a strong base for success in the program. Students who successfully complete all of the listed certificate courses will earn an additional standalone credential which can be useful for professional development.
