Security Cameras and Video Management
During August 2017, the university migrated most of the security cameras from seven disparate video management systems and servers to Avigilon ACC 7 video management system (VMS). This new VMS has made the management of cameras and retrieval of recorded video much more efficient for the Department of Public Safety and law enforcement. Avigilon ACC 7 also provides integration capabilities with the Manitou CS alarm system and the new OnGuard card access system. As funding becomes available, Public Safety will continue to add cameras to provide greater coverage on campus.
Departments may request security cameras by filling out the Integrated Security Technology Request Form.
Department specific cameras will be funded by the requesting department.
