Afterschool Alliance

The Afterschool Alliance’s vision is to ensure that all youth have access to affordable, quality afterschool programs. Their mission is to engage public will to increase public and private investment in quality afterschool program initiatives at the national, state and local levels. More and more, parents understand the benefits of afterschool programs and are enrolling their kids in record numbers. Participation in afterschool programs continues to grow, but for every child who participates, there are two more who would like to — if a program were available.

DFi: Digital Futures Initiative

DFi provides training programs for instructors and parents on how to educate kids on issues that can arise from irresponsible internet use, including harassment, cyberbullying, loss of emotional intelligence, substance use, distracted driving and more.

Get Smart About Tobacco

Studies have shown that school-based programs can help reduce the number of kids who use tobacco products. Operation Prevention
