| Tuesday, September 15 (2020) | Recommended spring priority application deadline for graduate degree-seeking applicants to have all admission materials received by the Graduate College. In order to receive full consideration for spring admission, all applications must be complete and submitted to the Graduate College prior to the spring application deadline established by the individual graduate program. |
| Thursday, October 1 (2020) | Recommended last day to submit 2020-2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for financial aid to be ready for Spring 2021 fee payment deadline. |
| Thursday, October 1 (2020) | Spring scholarship deadline. Last day to have all admission materials received in Admissions for new freshman and transfer students who want to be considered for scholarships for Spring 2021. The 2020-2021 FAFSA must be filed by this date to be considered for need-based scholarships. |
| Monday, October 5 (2020) | Spring 2021 on-campus housing application available at noon for residence halls. |
| Thursday, October 15 (2020) | Priority date for international student application materials to be received by International Admissions for spring semester consideration. |
| Monday, November 2 (2020) | Registration for continuing students begins for Spring 2021 (by appointment). |
| Monday, November 9 (2020) | Last day to submit Application for Admission to Candidacy form to the Graduate College for graduate degrees and certificates to be awarded in May 2021. |
| Sunday, November 15 (2020) | Standard application deadline for undergraduate, degree-seeking applicants to have all admission materials received by Admissions. Applicants who miss this application deadline will be considered for degree-seeking status on a space-available basis. Students who are not eligible for degree-seeking admission may be considered for nondegree-seeking status and are ineligible for financial aid. |
| Tuesday, December 1 (2020) | Deadline for first-time, degree-seeking, domestic undergraduate students who plan to enroll to submit online Intent to Enroll form and accompanying $100.00 enrollment confirmation. |
| Wednesday, December 16 (2020) | Registration for Non-Degree and Open Enrollment begins. |
| Monday, December 28 (2020) | Recommended date to finalize student course schedules for Spring 2021 for financial aid purposes. |

| Friday, January 15 | Last day faculty may submit drops for nonattendance during the first week of the semester to the Registrar’s Office. |
| Friday, January 15 | Deadline to apply for graduation for graduate and undergraduate degrees and certificates to be awarded in May 2021. Students apply for graduation on myBoiseState. Late applications will be accepted but a late fee will be assessed. |

| Monday, January 25 | Last day to submit Idaho Residency Determination Worksheet with documentation to Registrar’s Office to declare Idaho residency for Spring 2021 consideration. |

| Friday, February 19 | Last day to add undergraduate internship and independent study. |
| Friday, February 19 | Last day to add graduate assessment (master's preliminary examination, doctoral preliminary examination, thesis proposal, dissertation proposal, master's comprehensive examination, doctoral comprehensive examination), directed research, independent study, internship/practicum, or reading and conference. |
| Friday, March 12 | Recommended last day for final oral dissertation, thesis, or project defense for graduate degrees to be awarded in May 2021. |
