Applying to Scholarship Opportunities

Auto Match Scholarships

Once you complete your General Application, you will be matched with scholarships for which you immediately qualify – no further action is required. To see a list of scholarships that may need additional action on your part to receive consideration, select “Recommended” under “Opportunities.” All students who qualify will be auto matched to these opportunities. Qualifying does not guarantee you will receive a scholarship.

Award Amount

The number and award amount of scholarships are for general information purposes only and should not be considered a guarantee of what you will receive if selected. Actual award amounts vary based on students’ individual eligibility, funds available, and other factors.

Providing References

Not all scholarships require letters of recommendation. If a recommendation is needed, you will be prompted to enter the individual’s full name and email address. It is an expectation that you respectfully request permission to use an individual as a reference PRIOR to entering their contact information. Once the contact information is entered, an email is immediately sent to the individual with instructions for completing the recommendation. Please encourage a timely response from your reference. You will not be able to view the submitted recommendation, only that it has been received.

Entering Essays

Not all scholarships require an essay. If an essay is needed, you will be prompted to “Add a New File.” Please attach your essay as a Word or PDF file (8mb max file size). The name of the file should be your last and first name. Do not use any special characters in the file name.

Please note: you cannot update this information on the application. If you have concerns about the information in the imported fields, you must contact the appropriate cognizant authority to make any necessary updates.
