Preparing Innovative and Capable Problem-Solvers

It’s our goal to prepare innovative and capable problem-solvers in Idaho who understand the complexities and intricacies of environmental challenges across the state and region. Doing so will greatly benefit our economic and environmental future locally, and beyond.

Environmental challenges — including intense wildfires, water scarcity, farmland conversion and declining wildlife and fish populations—adversely affect communities in Idaho and America. This interdisciplinary program produces versatile, creative managers in the best practices and strategies of effective problem-solving in a wide range of environmental career areas.
