Capital Connection
As part of the first-ever cohort of Capital Connection students, Saige gained hands-on experience through an internship with Georgetown Law’s Public Defense Clinics.
“I grew a lot in my confidence and independence during the program, and in being successful post-grad. It was interesting to see all of us push ourselves in different ways – socially, academically, professionally.”
– Saige Caldwell, Political Science
Internships
Gain hands-on experience, bridge the gap between theory and practice, and develop professional networks in your field of interest in the real world.
“My internship experience was a game-changer, transforming academic concepts into living, breathing projects that have shaped my career path in unimaginable ways.”
– Kenny Huston, Environmental Studies ’22, MPA ’24
Student Research
Julián collaborated with an SPS faculty member to conduct a research project on a topic meaningful to him. Now pursuing a Ph.D., he aspires to one day help create more opportunities for students as a professor.

– Julián Arreguín Vega, Political Science ’24
