10 Year Anniversary Celebration
On October 10, 2025, the School of Public Service held a celebration event reflecting on the school’s beginnings, growth and future, highlighting a decade of preparing problem-solvers and leaders through education, research, and community engagement.
The program featured remarks from former Boise State President Bob Kustra, who founded the school in 2015; NPR reporter and alumna Ximena Bustillo; global nonprofit leader Heidi Peterson; Interim President Jeremiah Shinn; and Dean Angie Bos, who offered a toast to the next decade of service. Emceed by Senior Associate Dean Andy Giacomazzi, the celebration recognized faculty and staff achievements, honored distinguished alumni and partners, and reflected on the school’s deep commitment to Idaho and public service.
