Volunteer @ Aerospace Day
Aerospace Day is an entry point into the world of STEM, aerospace, and post-secondary education and training for student attendees from area middle and high schools. Last year’s attendees were predominantly 8th graders and 9th graders.
We aim to make the experience both meaningful and purposeful for students through quality interactions and programming throughout the day.
LEAD A SESSION
Host a series of 25-minute (or 50-minute) sessions for students. During the session, share some aspect of your career field through an interactive experience or activity.
HOST AN EXPO TABLE
Table at our Aerospace Day Expo where volunteers can engage with educators and youth in a more informal manner about the volunteer’s organization, field, career path, etc. In either format, we encourage interactive materials to inspire and engage Idaho youth.
