Are you a trailblazer in your family? Join us as we celebrate you and the support systems that got you to this moment.
This celebration honors the accomplishments of students who are the first members of their families to graduate from college. If your parent(s) and/or guardian(s) do not have a bachelor’s degree (i.e. did not graduate from a 4-year college), you are considered to be first-generation. Students can recognize those who supported them during their collegiate journey by asking them to present their first-generation cord onstage.
Light refreshments will be provided.
