    Why Events at Boise State?

Events undoubtedly create a memorable experience for our students. I love helping to shape those experiences and see them to fruition. Working in the Student Union as a student changed my career path and I arguably learned more in my job than in the classroom at times. Understanding that opportunity, I’m inspired to foster and create that same opportunity for Boise State students.

Audiovisual Production Services

  • ANDY HARGREAVES

    Audiovisual Production Services Manager

I really enjoy working at Boise State. It is great to work with students and I enjoy being creative and using technology to put on great events at Boise State.  Every event is different and I thrive when being challenged to think outside the box.  After work, I can be found running all over Boise, playing with my two most wonderful daughters, enjoying local beer and wine, or heading up to McCall for a weekend getaway.

Education & Event Experience:  I graduated from the University of Idaho in 2006 with a degree in Advertising.  After bouncing around a few post-college marketing jobs, I found my passion working with technology at the local television station KTVB.  It was there that I learned I could work well in a fast paced, high pressure environment.  I worked as a camera operator, production assistant, and broadcast engineer in my time at KTVB.  I joined University Event Services in summer of 2017 as an Audiovisual Production Coordinator.  I moved into the manager role in the Fall of 2019.

    Why Events at Boise State?
Every day is different here.  Every event is unique and it is fun and rewarding to see an event be successful.  The student experience is my favorite part of every day and I enjoy seeing students learn and grow in their positions and take part in big campus events.
